My e-mail at school is jacquelinesc@leeschools.net if you want to send it to me. EVERYONE present in class had AMPLE time to complete their project, so LATE PROJECTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!! Label a new page in your lab notebooks “ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN FOOD.” Click on this link Organic Compounds and copy down the Prediction Table with the 12 foods listed. Place a CHECK mark to predict which organic compounds (starch, sugar, lipid or protein) you THINK will be found in each food. For example, for Applesauce, if you think it contains sugar and lipid, place checks for both of those. Remember, this is only your prediction, so there is no right or wrong. Once you have made a prediction for every food, READ OVER THE PROCEDURE for testing each compound and be ready to perform it once we get back to class.
Upon returning to class, get a pair of goggles and sit at your seats with ONLY the lab handout and your notebooks out.
If you are trying to access the 432 summary for the Water Olympics lab, it is under the title “H2Olympics” on the Honors Biology page. Just scroll down the Honors Bio page and you should see it.
